Turning centre operator wanted in Owyhee County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Owyhee County, Idaho. You will work on the CNC turning shop floor. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred On a typical shift you will top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; load and index turning tools in the turret. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
