Blocklayer wanted in Knox County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a blocklayer in Knox County, Nebraska. You will work on a scaffolded high-rise site. Requirements: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently On the job you will handle: • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $2,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
