Join our team: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Presidio County, Texas. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. Day to day you will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
