Vertical milling machine operator wanted in Telford and Wrekin

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Telford and Wrekin, England. The job is at a fabrication and machining plant. Requirements: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift Your main tasks: • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter Full-time, day shift.
