Gang bricklayer • Morgan County, Georgia

Now hiring: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Morgan County, Georgia. You will work at a groundworks and structures site. On the job you will handle: • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go Requirements: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
