Now hiring: we are hiring a single needle operator in Ikono, Akwa Ibom State. The job is at a knitwear stitching unit. Day-to-day duties: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line Ideal candidate: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
