AC and fridge repair technician wanted in Newcastle upon Tyne

Vacancy available: we are hiring an AC and fridge repair technician in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. The job is at a busy refrigeration workshop. Day to day you will trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution; replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves; trace electrical circuits with a multimeter; clean condenser and evaporator coils; charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture. Requirements: • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders £125 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
