Immediate opening: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Knox County, Nebraska. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. You should have: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination You will back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $4,600 per month plus benefits. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
