Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Clarendon County, South Carolina. The role involves weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Six days a week, one day off.
