Now hiring: we are hiring a laundry presser in Washington County, Texas. On a typical shift you will remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press. Ideal candidate: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work 5+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
