Shuttering carpenter • Ogbaru, Anambra State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Ogbaru, Anambra State. You will be based on a metro and tunnel project. The role involves strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations. Ideal candidate: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing 1+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
