Bread baker wanted in City of Portsmouth

Join our team: we are hiring a bread baker in City of Portsmouth, Virginia. You will work at a cake shop. Day to day you will check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds. Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • 2+ years' experience as a baker At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
