Great opportunity: we are hiring a sausage maker in Juneau County, Wisconsin. The job is at a halal meat counter. On a typical shift you will weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate 2+ years on the tools preferred. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
