Aluminium tig welder • Roseau County, Minnesota

Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Roseau County, Minnesota. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. You will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. Requirements: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Own basic hand tools and PPE 6+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
