Join our team: renovation plasterer (New York)

Join our team: we are hiring a renovation plasterer in Cortland County, New York. You will be based on a busy domestic building site. Day-to-day duties: • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat What we are looking for: • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
