Urgent requirement: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Caroline County, Maryland. What we are looking for: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Day to day you will rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block.
