Aluminium tig welder wanted in City of Lynchburg

Join our team: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in City of Lynchburg, Virginia. You will be based on an industrial construction site. The role involves inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium 3+ years on the tools preferred.
