What we are looking for: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg The role involves: • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
