Gas appliance installer • South Central Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in South Central Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. You will be based on residential and apartment building sites. The role involves: • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls Requirements: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
