Join our team: we are hiring a banksman in Rice County, Kansas. You will be based at a power plant. The role involves: • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Part-time with flexible hours. We offer $3,100 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
