Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Santa Fe County, New Mexico. What we are looking for: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls Your main tasks: • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) Rotating shifts.
