Presser — Enugu North

Immediate opening: we are hiring a presser in Enugu North, Enugu State. You will work at a garment factory. Day to day you will give each garment a final press before packing; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots. What we are looking for: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
