Urgent requirement: catering cook (Illinois)

Join our team: we are hiring a catering cook in Iroquois County, Illinois. You will be based at a busy restaurant kitchen. The role involves: • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch What we are looking for: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
