We are recruiting: we are hiring a mosaic tiler in Mecklenburg County, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling Requirements: • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
