Now hiring: we are hiring a marble cutter in Derry City and Strabane, Northern Ireland. The job is in a natural stone fabrication unit. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone • Own hand tools an advantage The role involves: • Lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys • Cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades • Measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting • Level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat • Lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
