TIG welder — Tureta

Great opportunity: we are hiring a TIG welder in Tureta, Sokoto State. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection The role involves: • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
