Moulder wanted in Polk County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a moulder in Polk County, Arkansas. You will be based at a busy iron foundry. Requirements: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Day-to-day duties: • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring 4+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. We offer $3,100 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
