Tyre and wheel fitter wanted in Mendocino County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tyre and wheel fitter in Mendocino County, California. You will be based in a tyre and puncture shop. Day-to-day duties: • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine • Fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly • Vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench • Carry out wheel alignment and adjust camber and toe • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights What we are looking for: • Valid driving licence for mobile fitting roles • Awareness of workshop health and safety • Punctual and willing to work weekends Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
