Fire and safety officer wanted in Lake County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Lake County, Montana. You will work at a manufacturing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates You should have: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
