Lift maintenance fitter — Neath Port Talbot

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Neath Port Talbot, Wales. The job is at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Requirements: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Valid driving licence for site call-outs Day to day you will install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches.
