Fire and safety officer — Ile Oluji/Okeigbo

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Ile Oluji/Okeigbo, Ondo State. You will work in a warehouse and logistics yard. You will verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift. What we are looking for: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
