CNC milling operator wanted in Putnam County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Putnam County, Georgia. The job is at a busy machine shop. The role involves: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery What we are looking for: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery Full-time, day shift.
