Lift mechanic • City of Hampton, Virginia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lift mechanic in City of Hampton, Virginia. Day to day you will adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts. You should have: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance Six days a week, one day off.
