Bodywork technician — Mitchell County

Now hiring: we are hiring a bodywork technician in Mitchell County, North Carolina. The job is in a collision repair centre. Your main tasks: • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates You should have: • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
