Natural gas fitter — Kusilvak Census Area

Vacancy available: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Kusilvak Census Area, Alaska. You will work on residential and apartment building sites. Ideal candidate: • Driving licence for travel between sites • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion Your main tasks: • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
