Join our team: we are hiring a finishing presser in City of Chesapeake, Virginia. You will be based at a garment factory. On the job you will handle: • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Give each garment a final press before packing • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
