Immediate opening: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Rockdale County, Georgia. The job is at a container port and shipping yard. Ideal candidate: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging The role involves read and interpret the load chart before every lift; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams.
