Machinist — Harrison County

Join our team: we are hiring a machinist in Harrison County, Kentucky. You will work in a textile and apparel unit. Ideal candidate: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Day-to-day duties: • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges Rotating shifts.
