Foundry operative — Meeker County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry operative in Meeker County, Minnesota. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. You will melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Basic grinding and fettling skills Pay around $2,700 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
