Now hiring: we are hiring a baker in City of Fredericksburg, Virginia. You will work at a café with an on-site bakery. What we are looking for: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • 2+ years' experience as a baker The role involves proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; score the top of loaves before baking; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing. 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
