Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Sherman County, Oregon. On the job you will handle: • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites 5+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $3,800 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
