We are recruiting: we are hiring a precision welder in Madobi, Kano State. Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Day-to-day duties: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
