Join our team: we are hiring a tig welder in Raleigh County, West Virginia. Day to day you will inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding. You should have: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
