Concrete placer • Georgetown County, South Carolina

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete placer in Georgetown County, South Carolina. You will be based at an infrastructure site. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours The role involves set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Pay around $4,500 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours.
