Urgent requirement: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in McDonald County, Missouri. The job is at a road and highway construction project. You should have: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones The role involves: • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
