Join our team: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Davison County, South Dakota. What we are looking for: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection On the job you will handle: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding 3+ years on the tools preferred.
