Waitress wanted in City of Harrisonburg

Vacancy available: we are hiring a waitress in City of Harrisonburg, Virginia. On a typical shift you will raise the bill on the POS and settle cash and card payments; handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager; upsell starters, desserts and beverages; punch orders through to the kitchen as a KOT (kitchen order ticket); restock side stations with sauces, condiments and napkins; clear and reset tables between covers. What we are looking for: • Basic numeracy for handling cash, bills and change • Willingness to work weekends, evenings and split shifts • Good knowledge of the menu, ingredients and beverages Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
