Immediate opening: we are hiring a boiler installation and service engineer in Newberry County, South Carolina. The job is for a heating and plumbing contractor. Requirements: • Comfortable working in lofts, under floors and in tight spaces • Able to work independently on a schedule of daily call-outs The role involves: • Issue landlord gas safety certificates after each service • Replace pressure relief valves, expansion vessels and thermostats • Use a flue gas analyzer to check CO and CO2 readings • Carry out gas tightness testing on pipework and fittings • Check and adjust gas pressure and burner combustion settings • Inspect flues and condensate pipes for correct installation Six days a week, one day off.
