Gas pipe fitter wanted in Marshall County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Marshall County, Iowa. The job is at a boiler and appliance service centre. Requirements: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Day-to-day duties: • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $160 per day, based on your experience. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
