We are recruiting: gas installation technician (Texas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Delta County, Texas. The job is in a gas distribution network. The role involves thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections. Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
